The Scudster

Familiar

Hunter

The name is Scud. It ain't my real name but I got no reason to tell ya' that, now do I? I don't have a last name either so don't bother askin'.

Yeah, I was here before and left for some personal issues. But I'm back and better than ever. I ain't a familiar anymore so stop askin' or my foot might just find a new home in yer ass.

If you're pale, burn in the sun, and like the sweet taste of blood, I'm killing ya'. Don't fuckin' care about what your name is or your story. Your ass is ash.

[[This is a Blade RP blog with the one and only Scud, back from a well needed hiatus. I RP with anyone so, let's have some fun!]]

Josh raised an eyebrow at that and frowned all the more. When Elvis leaned into him he instinct dropped an arm over his shoulder, finishing off the rest of his donut before snatching another. “Drink the pain away, right?” He asked curiously, glancing to the empty bottles of beer. “Well, I know all about that, feathers. It doesn’t help.” He glanced down at the raven haired finch. “Wanna’ know a secret?”

Elvis kept the half finished donuts in his hands, cradling in as he turned his head into the other, pressing his flush face onto the other’s shoulder, his body inhaling in instinct.

For the first time in a very long time he felt whole, the pain ebbed from his heart as his tensed shoulders relaxed. “You think I don’t know?” His voice had no heat to it, it was just resigned. He sighed and nodded, his body moving to pressed a little more into the other’s warmth. It felt as natural as breathing.

“That coven of vampires that had me  got me addicted to drugs. They didn’t like the way it made me taste but it made me scream less- when they didn’t want me too.” He munched on the donut casually, holding Elvis. “The people that found me and saved my life also helped me detox. Told me that I shouldn’t drink much anymore either. So, I only drink on Saturdays. Trained myself and everything.”

Josh grinned, “I actually feel better now that I don’t drink everyday. This doesn’t have anything to do with your issue but, thought I’d say anyway.”

Elvis snorted, leaning heavily on Josh. “We just went opposite directions didn’t we” He sighed but smiled nonetheless, he was happy that the other was doing well. He rubbed his still wet eyes on his shirt.

“What happened to us” He whispered softly, he knew what happened but it still baffled him.

“We needed to mature.”Scud said, putting it easily. “We weren’t… ready for each other.” He shrugged, grabbing his third donut and snacking on it a bit slower. “It happens.”

“Geuss so” He sighed, closing his eyes and listening to the others heartbeat like old times. “Do you think we ever will?” He asked, he’d been thinking a lot about futures. He didn’t know what he wanted in life anymore, he used to be sure.

He heard the munching of the donut through the other’s body, finding it interesting, his hand idly picking at a few stray threads, plucking them out, though it took a little longer as his hands were heavy.

Scud hummed at Elvis’ question, thinking it over. He wasn’t sure. In fact, it was a bit worrying that the finch was wondering that. He had been so sure the other was over him. “Maybe,” He said honestly. “One day. But we’d move up to it slower than before.”

He paused, thinking for a moment, “What about… that guy?”

annabelleriley sent: Annabelle climbed out of the car and headed straight for the house. As soon as Annie and Scud walked through the door Evangeline came running out of her room. "Mama," she toddler shrieked.

"She’s already running? Christ." Scud said, eyes widening as the little girl came running forward.

scudthefamiliar replied to your post: Scud smirked, shifting slightly at the door. He rang the doorbell then glanced around the house. It was one damn nice place. Dixie and Dee living out here? Hell, he might just have to move down to Georgia. He was getting tired of the city anyway. Smirking, Scud rang the bell again before shoving his hands into his pockets and waiting. He looked different- shorter hair, (a bit) cleaner clothes, but he was sure Dee would recognize him anyway.

Scud chuckled at Dee’s greeting, feeling at home the moment she coddled him with love. He grinned, “My bike-” He pointed to his motorcycle parked in her driveway. “-nope, not at all. Felt nice. I’m always hungry, Dee.” He chuckled.

She rolled her eyes at his response about his bike, “I didn’t mean what brings you here in that sense,” she laughed, “but I’m glad you’re here! I’ve missed you! And I’m pretty sure Daryl’s been missin’ you guys too,” she shook her head and tilted it toward the kitchen, “come along, I’ll fix you up some food,” beaming as she entered the kitchen she practically almost forgot and glanced over her shoulder, “I forgot… have I told you I’m pregnant yet?” furrowing her brow lightly she tried to remember if she had or not, god it was hard to keep track of who she had and hadn’t.

"Nah, but I heard." Scud grinned, following her in. "Kinda’ why I came down. And I could use a break from the city. The country… isn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be." Less choking. And he could see the stars. Josh smiled and took a seat just as two dogs came bounding up to him. He chuckled and reached down to pet them.

"You’re gonna’ have four kids to take care of once that baby gets here."
He mused, obviously including the dogs and Daryl. “Think you can handle that?” Scud smiled, obviously teasing.

annabelleriley sent: "I'm sure they do." She smiled and leaned back, telling Scud how to get back to the villa.

They got to her and Tony’s place in record time- considering Scud still had the habit of breaking every speeding law ever- and the ex-familiar came to a stop, parking the car.
